5 Indian superfoods to keep you healthy during winter
The winter season brings with it the need for certain superfoods to keep you warm.

Ayurveda claims that in order to keep us warm throughout the winter, our body tends to produce a lot of energy.

We have a greater need for calories throughout the winter, which contributes to our increased hunger. But during the winter, our bodies tend to absorb food more quickly. The optimum time to strengthen our immunity is during the winter.

What kind of foods and activities can we engage in during the winter season?

1.Include salads with carrots and beets in your diet. Both of these are regarded as winter foods and are nutrient-rich. Beetroot is a great example of a food that can raise your hemoglobin level, while carrots are a great source of Vitamin A, which is essential for a strong immune system.

2. Most of us tend to be more sluggish and lethargic during the winter, which can lead to subpar performance and sluggish system functioning. That being said, make sure you exercise every day, stay as active as you can, or take a quick stroll. You'll be more energetic and your system will function more quickly if you do this, which will stop you from whining about the chilly breeze.

For an Indian diet, the following must-have winter superfoods are easily accessible:

1.Bajra (Pearl Millet)

Since bajra contains more protein than any other grain, it is especially recommended throughout the winter. Additionally, it is a very good source of magnesium, potassium, and fiber, all of which are good for your general health.
